another wedding on monday. as we all sat around after the 8 meal course, we just started talking and drinking, and singing, and i suddenly felt very delighted. this warm feeling that family is always there. just a thought to share. anyways, it was pretty funny. because when the our side of the family insisted that my aunt( grooms mum) finished up the brandy, the grand uncle stepped in and said (in hokkien): ah ya, i drink on behalf of my daughter! ' and it went down in a gulp. it was also another aunt's birthday, so we also insisted she finish the whisky. and then my uncle went again' i drink for her, i drink'. and another auntie's birthday but she was away, so her youngest son had to do the honors. guess who helped? no one actually. haha. anyways, from this, you can actually see, no matter how old you are, your parents are always ready to protect you, from anything, and everything. i thank God that i have parents.
