chinese new year.
for some its a once a year family gathering kind of thing while for others, its just another family gathering but with the presence of new (nicer looking) clothes, and red packets. which one is yours? i do get the experience of both, and well, i'd rather it be a 'its just like another family gathering' kind of environment. Im not keen on seeing people i see only once a year, along with the awkward smile and the ' Oh hi (mumble some random name cause you dont even know that persons name)! happy new year to you too ! ' dont you feel weird? there is a saying going around, which goes something like ' blood is thicker water ' , and such but if you were in trouble, would your friend whom you see almost everyday save you or a kin you see only once a year ? HAH! the point is, i like the extended family, i like being in an environment that im familiar with, and hey, im just counting my blessings.
how would my film turn out?
